様々な理由で無期停学になる高校生は多い。 特にタバコ、飲酒、暴力行為等。 公立でいう無期停学は辞めさせはしないものの、転校するまでの移行期間を指している事が多く、ある一定期間で学校を転校するというのが条件になっているようだ。 私学の場合は生徒の将来というよりは体面を気にする事が多く、表沙汰（警察からの通報、新聞沙汰、ネット公開）になると即刻、無期停学から退学になるケースが多い。 言い渡されてやり直す気持ちがあるなら、転校を考えた方がいい。 ”処分が決まらないのは許される”と期待しない方がいいかもしれない。
