不登校,高校中退の救済を目指すサポーターの皆様
曇り空の東京からお早うございます。
先日、埼玉県の夜間中学でボランティアをしているOさんがこちらに見学にいらっしゃいました。昨年来、夜間中学で、勉強を教えているということです。
私「そこはどんなと所なんですか？」
O「うーん、いろんな生徒が来てますよ、外国人、フィリピン、ブラジルとか、二十歳を過ぎた人とか、結構,面白いですよ」
私「ちょっと、調べたんですけど、うちでお世話していた○○君、そちらに行っていませんでした？」
O「アー、彼はこちらで、教えていましたよ」

その彼は中高一貫校で不登校となり、半ば、普通の高校への進学をあきらめていた生徒でしたが、夜間中学という自由に勉強を教えてもらえる環境で心のリハビリをして、今、都立六本木高校に合格し、通学しています。
中学不登校となった場合、夜間中学があれば、利用を検討した方がいいかもしれません。
